“Shimmers of Time” by Ken Allan Dronsfield

Diamond shimmers within sand,

an ardor in the moon’s brightness;

a whisper.

Stealing of devoted memories

cast one’s heart off into eternity;

the promissory.

Talking of love and deep passions,

lemon cakes and saving the world;

an evanescent whim.

Love me in a warm breeze of summer

and during the crispy cold of winter’s nip;

our timeless devotion.

Terns glide by while seagulls rise whilst

break of dawn explodes upon the horizon;

the fiery luminescence.
